A plain account of how visits are counted and what happens when you book, call or follow a link.
How we count visits
This website counts how many people visit, which pages they open and which buttons they tap, such as calling, getting directions or booking a chair. The counter belongs to Gramberg Media, the company that built and maintains this website. It does not use cookies, it does not follow you to other websites, and it does not show advertising.
Each visit records the date and time, the page, the type of device and browser, the website that sent you, and the approximate city your connection comes from. It does not store your full IP address, your name or anything you type. To tell a repeat visit from a new one within the same day, it keeps a one-way scrambled value that changes every day, so it cannot be used to recognize you from one day to the next.
These records are kept for 25 months. They are not sold, and they are not shared with anyone except the companies that host this website.
Messages and bookings
This website has no contact form and does not collect your name, phone number or email. To book a chair, the Book Now buttons take you to Square, the scheduling service V the Barber uses. What you enter there goes to Square and to V the Barber, under Square’s privacy policy.
Links to other services
This website links to services run by other companies: Square for booking, Instagram for photos and messages, and Google Maps for directions. The map on the Visit page and on the area pages is shown by Google, which may set its own cookies. Once you open one of these, its own privacy policy applies, not this one.
